HOW WE WILL TELL YOUR STORY
Order of the Day
If you would like some ‘getting ready’ shots our photographer can start the day at your home or hotel suite. As a rough guide, these shots will take three quarters of an hour to an hour to cover.
We then go to your venue. Our photographer needs to be in place at least half an hour before your ceremony starts. This allows time to shoot some location images and to capture the reportage shots of your guests as they arrive. We also take formal & fun shots of the groom and groomsmen.
We will be waiting to capture your arrival. Then we follow you quietly into the ceremony. We shoot continuously, if allowed, throughout the ceremony. Our photographer will be watching attentively to capture those once in a lifetime images. We record the moments of the exchange of your vows, the giving of the rings and signing of the register.
The formal photographs can be taken here at your ceremony venue, at your reception, or alternatively we could stop off for photographs at an attractive location of your choice.
If you need us for your reception, we would start by taking photographs of the exterior and interior of your venue. This would include shots of the table settings, decorations, flowers & balloons. This would ensure that the little details that make your day so special are recorded.
As the wedding party begins to arrive and relax, we can take the reportage style photography of all your family & friends that records the fun and excitement and tells the story of your day.
Very often we are asked to take a few formal photos of the bride & groom pretending to cut the wedding cake. Here we can capture close in shots of your hands & wedding rings. Unless you need us to record the speeches this is where we will leave you to enjoy your Wedding Breakfast.
