Squashed Apple Photography Fake Reviews Against IThis is a response from Carolyn Wimpenny, Managing Director of Cream Wedding Photography Limited.
Hello, In recent weeks libellous and totally untrue reveiws on Cream Wedding Photography have appeared on on certain review sites on the internet including one posted at www.trustpilot.co.uk which says the following "DONT USE CREAMPHOTO THEY SPOILT MY DAY" I believe it has been written by a person known as Carl Salem, or sometimes known as Carlo Saleminetti who operates under the name of Squashed Apple Photography. The name Squashed Apple was “borrowed” from a reputable wedding photography company called Crushed Apple Photography in Liverpool - they also stole the graphics from the same company to use on their copied website. Squashed Apple Photography, amongst many alternative aliases they operate under, is run from their Ashton Under Lyne (northeast Manchester) home using numerous fictitious addresses and telephone numbers. Carl Omar Salem/Carlo Saleminetti is not a photographer at all but a DJ and occasional car mechanic who saw wedding photography as a way to supplement his income. He has set up a series of websites offering wedding photography for next to nothing prices. The photos and wording on these sites has been stolen from other photographers – including us. We managed to get most of these copied websites taken down and in response this criminal has posted fake reviews on over 100 bona fide wedding photographers' website reviews rubbishing their services as they have done here to us. As a leading wedding photography company the production team of the BBC's technology programme ‘Click' consulted us when they were making a feature on how cowboy companies can hide their true identities on the internet and fool the public into believing they are receiving a professional photography service without any redress. I have collected evidence over the last year which we were able to supply to the BBC and Manchester Trading Standards. I have also taken clips from internet forums from devastated brides who have received shoddy services from squashed Apple Photography and indeed in one case that was well published they did not even bother to turn up at all. All this evidence is published here on our website http://www.creamphoto.co.uk/squashed-apple-photography.htm
Any Professional Wedding Photographer who has been plagued by this cyber stalker please feel free to cut and paste this review as you feel appropriate. Thank you.
