Bradford Cathedral Information and How To Get There

Bradford Catherdral's full name is Cathedral Church of St Peter is situated in the heart of Bradford in West Yorkshire , England , on a site used for Christian worship since the 8th century when missionaries based in Dewsbury evangelised the region. For most of its history the building was the parish church of St Peter .

By Car
Vehicle access is best from the A650 Shipley Airedale Road at its junction with Barkerend Road. From the north there is no right turn down to the Cathedral so follow the brown tourist signs left into Barkerend Road and round the roundabout before doubling back on yourself to straight down to the Cathedral. From the south, again following the brown tourist signs, turn left and follow Barkerend Road down to the Bradford Cathedral which is clearly visible in front of you to the right. At the bus gates turn right into Stott Hill.

Parking

There is no parking on site except very limited parking for the driver-disabled. We have a small car park - after turning right onto Stott Hill almost immediately turn right again onto Jermyn Street and right again into the free car park. Parking is also available in the council-run Burnett Street car park - before the bus gates turn left onto Peckover Street and then second left where signposted to Burnett Street Car Park; charges apply. There are also various other car parks around the City.
