The Cafe De paris was opened in 1924. I soon became popular and even the Prince of Wales was a regular visitor. With the elite guests including the Aga Khan and the Mountbattens, The Cafe De paris was open throughout the blackout of the war as the manager said that the building was built so solidly it would withstand a bombing. Unfortunately in 141 on March evening two bombs fell through the roof and killed 80 people inside.

Nowadays the Cafe De Paris is a special venue for r weddings or civil partnership ceremonies in London and the fantastic decor makes for thrilling weddings photographs.
